| Laura and I have been
involved with Christian education since graduating from Cedarville
University in 1989 and 1990 respectively. It was exciting to come back
to Carson City in 1990 and begin working at Fellowship Baptist Academy.
We spent four great years here before God called us to Guinea, West
Africa as teachers on the mission field with New Tribes Missions. Two
years later we returned to FBA and have been working
as either a teacher, administrator, or coach at Fellowship.
Jacob, our firstborn, joined the family in October of 1990. He is a graduate of FBA and currently is attending Cedarville University. Levi came along next. He is currently a senior at FBA and enjoys soccer, basketball, and hanging out with friends. Anna is a sophomore at FBA. Her activities include volleyball, basketball, and showing up the boys whenever she can. Sara, is our youngest but by no means our quietest child. She is a 7th grader at FBA and plays both volleyball and basketball. Our family enjoys being outdoors, sports, and hard work. O.K., maybe they don't enjoy the hard work, but it's part of our lives on our small 40 acre farm. Cutting wood, baling hay, gardening, and taking care of the cattle are just a few of the jobs that need to get done. - Kevin McAlvey |
